The whole "British food is bad" thing is I think just as accurate as that old "American food is bad" thing. Maybe some techniques and trends have been rightly suspect, but the traditions of more enduring foodcrafts will eventually be the legacy. (And then of course there's that whole most multicultural city in the whole world thing...)
