OLD FIELD FARM

IMG_1243 IMG_1268 IMG_1259 IMG_1260 IMG_1255 IMG_1250 IMG_1253 IMG_1254 IMG_1244 IMG_1247 Today I have been singing Stevie Wonder Livin' for the City... It's shocking sometimes when I think that my life in New York is easy. Thank goodness for magical escapes like Old Field Farm where my friend Tess tends to the pigs, bees and plants.

CREATIONS, SPRING 2012

IMG_1764 IMG_0985 IMG_0954 IMG_0987 IMG_1432 I've always been selective about dishes and things for the table and kitchen. Giovanna attuned my attention more particularly towards ceramic work through her awesome collections of used finds at Una. Of course ceramics is very en vogue now, but I can't recommend it enough. Most art making for me is highly cerebral and often exhausting, so the process of getting a little physical release while making an object is extraordinary.
